Course Description

This webinar, based on the Dr. Wachtel’s most recent book, will focus on tools therapists can use to make each session with a couple productive. Topics covered will include how to motivate couples to make the changes that will get them “unstuck,” how to foster self-reflection instead of blame, increase motivation to change, build on strengths, and expand the couple's sense of what is possible. There will be a close look at the importance of “choice points” in enabling the couple to build on whatever strengths the couple has and whatever positives still exist in their relationship.
