Advanced Therapeutic Strategies with Eating Disorder Patients

This course runs on PC/Mac

Course Description

Patients with eating disorders can be extremely challenging cases, even for the most experienced therapists. This class is designed to increase the skill level of therapists working with these patients and their often complicated families. New diagnostic categories of Binge Eating Disorder, Night Eating Syndrome, and Diabulimia will be reviewed, as well as Bulimia and Anorexia. Strategies for working with both individuals and families will be explored, as well as guidelines for when to refer to a higher level of care.
